Treasure Hunt Challenge All symposium participants are encouraged to take part in the QSA 2006 Treasure Hunt Challenge. Packets containing one yard of the challenge fabric and contest rules are available for $10 from Connie Greening. She may be reached at 256-734-7377 or at the Sewing Gallery, 320 1st Avenue SE CHALLENGE RULES 1. You must be a QSA 2006 registered participant to take part in this Treasure Hunt.2. You must use the challenge fabric on the front of your wall-hanging quilt. You may use any amount of the fabric, but you do not have to use the entire yard. 3. You may use as many other fabrics as you wish 4. You must have a Diamond shape some place in the front of your wall-hanging quilt. Remember, this is a treasure hunt, so make everyone search for your diamond. 5. The perimeter of your quilt must be no larger than 120" 6. Your challenge quilt must be received by May 26, 2006. It can be mailed to Connie Greening at the address listed above or it can be delivered on May 26 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. 7. Your entry must be accompanied by a Quilt Show Entry form and it should indicate participation in the Treasure Hunt Challenge. Please enclose a self-addressed stamped postcard with your entry. This will be mailed to you for your receipt. 8. You may enter as many wall quilts as you wish providing a Challenge packet has been purchased for each entry. THE PRIZE The challenge quilt receiving the most votes as the Viewers' Chioce will be declared the winner and will receive a Viking 207 sewing maching from the Sewing Gallery. ENTRY RETURNS The challenge quilts will not be returned by mail. All entries should be picked-up on Saturday, June 10, 2006, between 6:00 and 6:30 p.m.
